Ruth’s Promise offers activities and fellowship for older adults and respite for caregivers.
Ruth’s Promise is a five day a week program designed to give a much needed break for caregivers but is also structured to include many services for older adults that would be found at a day care or senior center. Ruth’s Promise provides a safe, inviting, therapeutic and enjoyable community, environment and program for adults who cannot stay at home alone.
While the program is designed to sustain and maximize function and cognition in the older adult, as well as provide enjoyable activities in a community setting, the program also gives much needed and deserved support to caregivers and allows them time to complete tasks or relax without the demands of caregiving.

Ruth’s Promise is open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00 PM.
Participants may attend all or part of each day. We will be open on all Tuesdays and Wednesdays that do not directly fall on a holiday.

LOCATION
We are located at 455 Missouri Ave., Largo, FL, 33770. We are housed in the Community Outreach Center at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, across from Largo High School.
